outskirts of Kuwait City. At 1830 a messace from 10th Marines placed restrictions
that all artillery fire into the built-uo area must be cleared bv the reaimental
COC. Durino 26 February the battalion expended 56 HE, 6 Illum, 401 RAP. and 238
DPICM durina 59 direct supoort missions.
27 February began with the reDOSitionina of the battalion headquarters and
Batterv "F" 2/14. The main Command Post disolaced to QT 668 339 and Satterv "F"
2/14 to QT 656 352. The battalion remained readv to provide fires as 8th Marines
cleared built-uo areas in their zone. No ammunition was exoended and no calls for
fire were received. At 0531 on 28 February, messace received to cease offensive
ooerations effective OBOOC and assume a defensive oosture. DLirina the course of
the around offensive. "Seven for One" covered aoproximately 70 kilometers.
