                              (13) 1800, 1/1 positioned along the ')Z gridline with
                 B/l/l vic QT 860:S, A/l/I vic QT 8803 and D/l/I vic QT 8903.
                 During the day's fighting, 1/1 accounted for 4'@ armored
                 vehicles destroyed, over 100 enemy KIA and over 500 EPW'S. 1/1
                 sustained 3 WIA.

                              (14) By 18@'O, TF X-Ray was in battle position X-Ray
                 ready to assume right flank guard mission for lst Division.

                              (15) By 19C)O, TF Log trains were positioned north of
                 the second belt.


                              (16) By 003C) '46 Feb, TF completed move north to vic
                 QS 838968 in preparation for the attack an @'uviait International
                 Airport (KIA).

                              (1) 0800, TF began movement north from vic QS 836968.
                 Many enemy armored vehicles and fighting positions bypassed.
                 Visibility negligible in clouds of black smoke.

                              (2) 1100, TF reached PL Red (QT 8020)

                              (7@) 1300, TF positioned behind PL Dianne

                              (4) l7j3O, TF CO received Division Frag Order for
                 attack on KIA.


                              (5) 14:SO, TF held an orders group to issue TF frag
                 order.


                              (6) 1500,  TF went to MOPP 4 on a report from 1/11.
                 Within ten minutes,     the TF FOX vehicle sounded the "all clear-."

                              (7) 164@0, TF received    call for assistance from TF
                 Ripper. Division authorizes TF         Papa Bear to attack in zone in
                 order to support right flank of        1/7.

                              (8) 16@,C@, 3/9 led the   TF toward @'IA. Visibility in
ack smoke was Linder       50 meters.


                              (9) 1635, 1/1 crossed     PL Dianne and turned east
                 toward QT 8733.


                              (10) 1715 TF Command     Elements followed 3/9 initially
                 and crossed PL Dianne.


                              (11) 1730, 3/9 crossed PL Margaret and negotiated two
                 substantial hire obstacles.


                              (i@4) 1800, 3/9 moved into agricultural area (vic QT
                 853.@) and discovered an extensive bunker complex. 3/9 received
                 sporadic enemy automatic weapons fire. That, coupled with near
                 zero visibility hampered movement north.
