(2) Provides transportation operator with:
(a) Broad policy guidance.
(b) Directives.
(c) Transportation Priorities.
(3) Develop plans and makes recommendations concerning
requirements, availability, and utilization of
transportation resources supporting the ARCENT mission.
(4) Monitor highway regulation in AOR.
(5) Maintain data necessary to support transportation
planning and coordination.
(6) Prepare Transportation Appendix to the Logistics
Annex for OPLANs and develop transportation estimates and
related studies as required.
(7) Prepare and submits reports daily to CENTCOM J4 by
ARCENT.
b. XVIII Abn CoEps.
(1) Have operational control for all Transportation
services operations until Commander, Third U.S. Army is
prepared to assume total EAC Command and control function.
(2) Upon assumption of command and control of RAC
elements by Commander, Third U.S. Army# XVIII Abn Corps
will continue command and control of transportation service
elements assigned or attached to Corps.
(3) Provide command and control of Movement Control,
Highway regulation, mode, and terminal transfer operations
of Corps units in the Corps Area of Operations.
(4) Supervise operations and training of assigned and
attached transportation units.
(5) on order, act as the HO, Third U.S. Army
Transportation Planning Agent under the staff supervision
of the ACofS, G4, Transportation.
(6) on order, operate Arrival/Departure Airfield
Control Groups in an operational area.
(7) Validate Corps airlift request IAW paragraph 3c
this appendix.
(8) Provide reports required by Commander, Third U.S.
Army.
