MACS-2 was not officially'tasked with the mission of I)ata Link
Interface Coordinator but after many weeks of continuous data link
operations, it became obvious that MACS-2 would be a key
participant in this process. The immediate benefit of TAOC
employment was the integration.of'USCENTAF/Saudi E-3A aircraft and
USNAVCENT data link equipped platforms (i.e. NTDS ships, E-2C
aircraft) via TAOC equipment. This interface technique cemented
TAOC relationship with all air'defense platforms operating in
             theatre.
