           5 Feb 1991              Conducted a CPX at 1900 to 2100 with 1/11 and
                                   3/12. Primary objectives: digital           1.
                                   connectivity and battalion tactical fire
                                   direction.     t


           6 Fc-b 1991             Division boundary moved to the east.
                                   2nd Marine Division began their move to the
                                   west of lst Marine Division. Task Force Taro
                                   still in de-;ensive positions at Ras Safaniya.

           7 Feb 1991              Battalion S-3s met with the Regt S-3 at 0900
                                   who briefed the Rrtillery breach support plan.
                                   Conducted an 1800 to 20(0 CPX with 1/11 and
                                   3/12. 5/11 briefed their upcoming raid this
                                   evening to the Regt S-3.

           9 Feb 1991              Conducted a Regt CPX. Mission: rehearsal of
                                   the offensive operations -First breach.

           10 Feb 1991             3/12 conducted an artillery raid with 1/11
                                   reinforcing them.

           11 Feb 1991             1800 Regt S-3 meeting for primary staff
                                   officers to brief the offensive breaching
                                   support plan.

           12 Feb 1991             Conducted a RL-gt CPX. Mission: rehearse the
                                   offensive breaching support plan.

           14 Feb 1991             Regt S-3 meeting: changes to the artillery
                                   breach support plan based on scheme of
                                   maneuver changes.

           15 Feb 1991             Fire Direction Officer (FDO) meeting.
                                   Di scltssed   methods of engagement; attack
                                   guidance; BCT and JMEMS Ltseage; target
                                   management.
                                   Conducted a Regt CPX integrating the target
                                   intelligence and Target Processing Center
                                   (TPC) into a CPX of the second breach.
                                   Excellent results obtained.

           16 Feb 1991             Battery "E" 2/12 (3/11) attached to Task Force
                                   (TF) Troy to support Division deception
                                   operations and occupied assembly area position
                                   at grid OS 822 320.

           1(3 Feb 1991            Battery "E" 2/12 participated in combined arms
                                   raid with TF Troy firing +our missions
                                   destroying blinkers and an observation tower
                                   and marking -For air attack on a police post.
                                   Battery fired 76 rounds HE and 2 WP marking
                                   rounds.
