      TASK FORCE PAPA BEAR
      - Initially Div Reserve in assembly area.
      - 0700, 3/9 dispatched its two Universal Spotter Team vehicles, along with
        STA teams, to recon route to the berm near the Saudi/Kuwait border.
        The STA teams continued to recon movement routes and battle positions
        up to the Ist obstacle belt.
      - 1300, 1/11's Jump COC and Btry Adv party crossed Kuwait border to est
        firing position vic of 7466. 1/11 fire cap ready by 2200.
      - 170e - TF goes MOPP level 2, rested remainder of evening.

      TASK FORCE TROY
      - Consolidated LOC with COC vic QS 926495. Deployed 2 Batteries of 155
        Howitzer decoys at the border berm. Conducted 'Operation Flailg,
        received jamming on all primary freqs. Detach LAI, Snipers, TOWs,
        E 2/12 and Plt D Co, Ist ReconBn. Sensors activated, illuminated
        treeline with mortars, 10 trucks seen but not able to determine if
        friendly or enemy.

      WHEELS/RECON
      - 'A' Co, 3d Recon(-) to conduct observation/surveillance from OP-3
        (QS 814555) in order to provide the Division early warning of an
        enemy counter attack from the NE of E.
      - Ist Recon Bn detaches both motorized and footmobile recon teams to
        Task Forces. 2d Plt, "Ch Co, let Recon attached to TF Ripper. 3d Plt
        'A" Co, 3d Recon attached to TF Taro. 3d Plt 'D' Co, Ist Recon attached
        to TF Taro. 2d PIt, 'A" Co, Ist Recon attached to TF Grizzly. let 21t
        'D' Co, Ist Recon attached to TF Grizzly. Tm 2, Ist Plt, "A" Co, Ist
        Recon attached to TF Taro to guide to breach site.

      WARDEN-1/25
      - "A' Command Group and "A" Co (-) co-located with Papa Bear log train.
      - 'C' Co links-up with Tf Rippers log train.
      - Attached 2d EPW Team to TF Taro and TF Grizzly.
      - Held 70 EPW's at TF Grizzly's log train over night.
