        -0359, G-Day and H-Hour confirmed to Division.
        -0410, Cobra passes OP execute order given verbally by CINC. 0555, B-52
         strike at OS 83309000 target # AT1525.
        -0710, cancel CFL 01, CFL #2 in effect.
        -0830, The following grids of breach lanes; TF Grizzly - 1 lane 688807,
         TF Taro - I lane OS 813738, TF Ripper - 4 lanes vic 7377, TF Papa Bear
         I lane QS 750760.
        -0856, Pride orders Task Force Taro to open another breach line in its
         sector.
        -0957, 2d MarDiv request to shoot counter battery fires at OS 687037 -
         OX. I MEF sends Frag Order 6-91, 0/0 be prepared to provide MSR
         security for Al Abdaliyah highway (main N-S MSR along 70 grid line).
        -1210, Coordinate Fire Line (CFL) 2 in effect beyond most counterfire
         targets, 11th Marines recommends to FSCC to establish interim CFL
         closer to friendly forces. Division FSCC establishes hasty CFL along
         the second obstacle belt.
        -1545, Pride orders 11th Marines to move 3 Battalions in position to
         fire on Al JAber quickly.
        -1600, Coordinated Fire Line (CFL) 3 in effect. Division ordered Task
         Force Papa Bear to clear th second belt and establish a beach head. 4
         Intent was to land Task Force XRAY (1/3) inside Task Force Papa Bear's
         zone and daylight was running out.
        -1755, Division Frag Order issued to Task Force.Ripper to continue to
         attack to KIA at BMNT on 25 Feb 91.
        -2021, 3d MAW reports the 14th and 29th Inf Div, III Corps (Iraqi) no
         longer effective, also the 7th Inf Div has suffered unspecified damage.
         Reported combat losses - I AAV-P7 mounted with MK-154. TF Ripper
         I M60A1 Tank; TF King I HMMWV.
        -Started to displace just south of 2d obstacle belt, Ripper advanced
         faster than expected. Cobra made decision to advance forward thru
         2d obstacle belt to OS 842977.
        -2100, Division directed Task Force Papa Bear to put a '.TOW screen out to
         the Northeast approximately 2-3 kilometers.
        -2330, Mission was given to Task Force Papa Bear to continue to block
         to the East and Northeast while the Division consolidated in zone. No
         movment was to begin prior to 1000 on G-1 (25 Feb) since Pride still
         wanted to land Task Force XRAY and move artillery forward.

        -0130, 3/7 reports 2d minefield breached by Engineers, line charge
         used at OS 687809.
        -0130-0500, 3/7 moves through 2d minefield.
        -0143, 3/7 captures enemy radio freq 44.695.
        -e515, 3/7, Co K reports enemy anti-aircraft fire vic OS 6486.
        -0519' 2/7 engages 3 T-72 tanks  ' 3 BMP's. Scouts assist.
        -0555, TF Grizzly (Fwd) reports small arms fire at front. 2/7      reports
         receiving small arms, tank main gun fire from SE. Co A, 1/25     EPW Det
         reports receiving tank main gun rounds incoming. 2/7 reports     3 WIA
