      TASK FORCE GRIZZLY
      - 0141, 2/7 spots a long vehicle column east of their pos. Will engage
        with air.
      - 0055, 2/7 reports scouts sighted MRL vic OS 657812 and arty at OS
        649805.
      - 0305, TF reports enemy at OS 670880 in 2d Div zone, X boundary
        authorized. At 0555, TF lead element south of 83 EW grid line, reports
        bunker complex at OS 709814 and engaging 3 x T-62's at OS 716822.
      - 0800, TF forward moving to OS 635724.
      - 0830, 3/7 Scout Teams/Eng moves to 1000 meters south of minefield
        OS 687787. Ran CAS and Arty on enemy minefield'and bunkers.
      - 1030, 3/7 Eng reconnoiter friendly side of minefield.
      - 1112, Arty fires at OS 715798, 4 tubes and 2 bunkers destroyed.
      - 1130, 3/7 Scout Team receives 3 rounds enemy indirect fire at
        OS 685775. Withdraws from forward position.
      - 1135, 2/7 coordinates airstrikes on bunkers at OS 693803, direct hit -
        6 enemy KIA - I of 2 tanks destroyed.
      - 1500, 3/7 STA/Eng moves to friendly side of minefield covered by Scout
        Teams. Two STA Marines and one Eng ran across uncleared minefield to
        eliminate enemy threat while other members cover with fire. These three
        Marines cleared bunkers and shot and wounded three Iraqi soldiers.
      - 1645, TF reports 10 EPW's surrendering OS 633717, request PSYOPS
        flight to help with enemy surrender. More EPW's start to cross
        minefield. Iraqi fires onto their own troops to prevent them from
        surrendering.
      - 1740, 2/7 reports 22 EPW's and 3 Iraqi trucks vic QS 656803.
      - 1755, authorized from Pride to place small unit in'lat obstacle belt.to
        identify, mark and secure. EPW's who crossed in front of 3/7 allowed
        for an opportunity to observe lanes, if not for the EPW's, the TF would
        have had to conduct a hasty breach.
      - 1800-2200, Engineers blow lanes through Ist minefield.
      - 1805, TF has medevac for 3 WIA's.
      - 194e, 3/7 requests MEDEVAC for EPW shot in back, with sucking chest
        wound.
      - 2050, EPW's report 1 entire company of the let Iraqi Division wants to
        surrender. EPW are crossing at 6980 and are assisting with lane marking
        of known gaps. EPW's state Al Jaber Air Field has been evacuated. TF
        continues to engage targets of opportunity. At 2055, TF has minefield
        breech OS 689800 with security on the northern (enemy) side, the breech
        is marked with chemlights. At 2200, TF reports LONESTAR, TF beginning
        infiltration. Infiltrated Ist obstacle belt after OS 688800 darkness,
        screened left flank of Div zone.         5 U.S.C. 552 (b)(7)(E)
        2100, 3/7 reports 2d company of EPW's (58) surrenders, M _ .
        2254, TF Grizzly forces infiltrated through Ist obstacle belt.

      TASK FORCE SHEPHERD
      - Co A returns to TF Shepherd.
      - 1900, TF begins movement to attack position.
      - 2330, TF crosses Saudi/Kuwait berm.
      - Co C, attached to TF Taro, throughout the day uncovers numerous bunkers
