                          (8) TF "A" Command established CP (vic QS 7927e4).

                          (9) By 1400, TF Log trains completed displacement
               through the first obstacle belt.

                          (10) 1435, 3/9 moved up to its attack position for
               the second obstacle belt amid sporadic artillery and mortar
               shellfire.


                          (11) 150C), 1/11 and TF Blmm mortars initiate planned
               neutralization fires on second belt.


                          (12) 15@@0, Z/9 begins breach of second obstacle belt
               (vic QS 89OE360).

                          (13) By 1600, only one lane was open and operational,
               the other  being fouled by disabled mine-roller tanp-; work was
               underway on a back-up lane.

                          (14) 1610, 3/9 engaged 5 T-55 tanks on north side of
               second breach, killing two. -1/9 engaged enemy with Cobras,
               tank main guns, artillery (1/11) and Simm mortars, as well as
               integral infantry direct fire weapons.
