(the ambulance AAV) pulled up to the head of the column to corral EPW's (since
they carry cooks/bakers who were non-essential in the breach effort and the
Emir'g Farm after). Mortars also called 'Snowstorm' as they receive incoming.

           - At the second breach, the main again formed on signal in a single file.
Mortars again also displaced Just ahead of the main. Main set up facing the
direction of the next attack while the Jump drove up to the tree line of the
           Emir'g Farm.

           - As the main did an ata- halt check, D-00 discovered a leak in the plenum
line; when we pulled into the position for the night, the line wag covered with
duck tape since there were no gpare lines.

           - 1/7 set up defensive position Northwest of Al Jaber Airfield. Main took

           - At 1500, Bn was relieved in place by follow-on forces, Bn reformed in a
wedge in preparation for attack on the 26th. Just about that time, the sky
became completely black. C Co. AAV's just to the right of the main fell into
the bunker. (The beat way most AAV drivers were avoiding falling into
corrugated steel covered bunkers of hitting a mine wag to follow directly in
the tracks of the AAV in front of them.) We again were using night vision
devices. Surprisingly they received star light and moon light cutting through
he thick black clouds.

           - At approximately 1900, 3/11 reported 'Gas' so the main immediately checked
its CAM (Chemical Agent Monitor). The main ordered to avoid movement in
complete darkness, stayed in its formation.
