GEN SCHWARZKOPF (US): We will give you information on the location of
any Iraqi military that were killed in action that we were required to
bury.

INTERPRETER (I): That you~ave a1rea~y buried?

GEN SCHWARZKOPF (US): ~hat we have already buried

LTG AHMAD (I): Well, in the same manner we have accepted we hope that
you will do the same. (Pause) This will be agreed with the Red
Cross.

GEN SCHWARZKOPF (US): We would like to have from you information on
all minefields that were put into the ground in Kuwait and also any
minefields that were put in the waters outside Kuwait or any
international waters. We, of course, need that information if we are
to clear those mines out of the area

LTG AHMAD (I): In this subject we will be very cooperative and we
will give you the maps and we have already brought with us now. Maps
of three sections, a box and the 4th box we had a colleague who should
have come with us but circumstances held him to bring the 4th box, the
maps for it

GEN SCHWARZKOPF (US): We appreciate that very much

bTG AHMAD (I): And we hope this will be handled also. What we have
now you can have

GEN SCHWARZKOPF (US): Thank you (To Khalid) That does include
Kuwait. (To AMMAD) That does include the oil fields right?

LTG AMMAD (I): Within these maps for areas if there are oil fields
within that area then they will be marked.

GEN SCHWARZKOPF (US): I fully understand that not all mines are
always known to military leaders and I understand that

LTG AMMAD (I): Whatever we know we will tell you and we will give you
information

GEN SCHWARZKOPF (US): We would also like to know the location if
there are any chemical, biological, or nuclear munitions stored in
anywhere within Kuwait

bTG AImIAD (I): There are no such things

GEN SCHWARZKOPF (US): There are none?

LTG AHMAD (I): There are some munitions, but they are just on the
ground you could see. Nothing is hidden. Not chemical or biological
Just ammunition for artillery and the rest.

GEN SCHWARZKOPF (US): Yesterday we had one soldier come up with a
burn on his arm while he was clearing ammunition areas. I will admit
that that area was inside Iraq, however, it was not inside Kuwait,
