C. (U) Supply Operations
(1) (U) Ava@lable C-day significant medical items 14st4ngs

requirements to the maximum extent feasible. After experience in the
AOR and as supported in documented demand requirements, stockage of
additional medical items may be added.
(2) (U) T-he Commander, 44th Medical Brigade.'@hrough the
subordinate units will operate Class VIII supply points for all US
Forces within the AOR.
(3) (U) Customer requisitions will be accepted by any means
of transmission as long as the essential data (NSN, quanity, document
etc.) is provided. Customer units will arrange pick-up/transportation
for requested supplies. In turn, the MEDSOMs whenever possible will
help arrange shipment/delivery.
(4) (U) Emergency medical supply requirements which cannot
be initially satisfied by the established medical supply system in the
Corps AOR, may be passed to USCINCEUR or USCINCPAC. The MEDSOMs will
establish authorized customer accounts with USCINCEUR and USCINCPAC
prior to deployment.
(5) (U) Replenishment requests from the MEDSOMs for medical
material will be forwarded to the appropriate DOD/Service support
facilities for replenishment. Method of replenishment submission will
be selected from voice, teletype, or data transmission of medical
material requirements in MILSTRIP format.
(6) Captured enemy medical material may be used to
support EPWs and/or detainees when feasible. Representative samples of
captured enemy medical supplies and equipment will be forwarded through
command channels to medical intelligence personnel for evacuation and
exploitation.
(7) -@g@ If capture of US medical supplies and equipment by
enemy forces is imminent, these items are not to be purposely destroyed.
The decision to abandon US medical material which cannot be evacuated
will be a command decision of the COMUSARCENT.
(8) (U) Patient evacuation transportation will be used to
the fullest to backhaul medical material, with priority '@o aeromedical
evacuation.
(9) (U) Supply accountability will be in accordance with
existing service regulations.
