1. PURPOSE. The Logistic Status (LOGSTAT) Report is designed
to pfovi@de the Commander Third United States Army (USARCENT) a
daily summary of both positive and negative logistic
developments which could significantly affect the conduct or
outcome of current or planned contingency operations. Report
also will be used during exercises to inform COMUSARCENT of
significant logistic developments.
2. SUBMITTED BY. Each major subordinate command - Part I,
XVIII Abn Corps, 377th TAACOM; and 416th Engr Cmd - Part I & II.
3. SUBMITTED TO. USARCENT Forward AFRD-GDO.
4. WHEN SUBMITTED. Daily. Report will be as of 2400 hours
Zulu, cF)v-e-r-i@ng@t e previous 24-hour period. Report is needed
by USARCENT Forward NLT 1800 hours Zulu following "as of"
time. Note: Reporting time may be amended for exercises.
5. METHOD OF TRANSMISSION. LOGSTAT Report will be sent by
IMMEL)IATE@pre@c-e-denc-e m-ei-sa-ge, or handcarried if the
headquarters are collocated.
6. CLASSIFICATION. As appropriate, but not normally higher
than Secret.
7. REPORT INDICATOR. LOGSTAT.
8. REPORT CONTENT. Report will be in the following format.

9. SPECIFIC REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS
a. Commander's Assessment. As a minimum, LOGSTAT Report
will include ccFmmandeF soV-eFa-li assessment of command's daily
logistic posture. This assessment should identify significant
logistic progress being made as well as supply shortages of
other logistic problems that have, or may have, a significant
bearing on the conmiand's mission capability. When shortages or
problems are identified, and Part II of the report is not being
