                (1) Meal Ready-to-Eat (MRE) is the initial ration on
            which personnel will subsist.

                (2) When the tactical situation permits, the standard
            B ration will be introduced to the theater.

                (3) Fresh fruit and vegetables may be authorized,
            depending upon local availability.

            d. Clothing Exchange and Bath.

                (1) Priority will be given to bath services at
            hospital locations.
                (2) Clothing exchange and bath services are available
            throughout all levels of command. The standard is to
            provide at least a.weekly bath and exchange of clothing for
            each soldier.

            f. Laundry/Renovation. TAACOM supply and service units
       will provide laundry and renovation of clothing support.
        Laundry support will be provided on an area support basis,
        primarily dedicated to hospitals.
