                        26FEB91; A windstorm tore  down tentage and free standing
                        (although staked down)     vestibules. All Minimal Care
                        Wardg, Medical Supply and Sl tentg were blown down. The
                        canvas ripped and metal loops holding guy ropes were
                        broken or pulled straight. Supply cabinets inside
                        TEMPER tentg were pushed over by the TEMPER gidewallg.

                        27FEB91: 100 hour cease fire declared 0800.


             E. MARDH:


                        3MAR91. All patients transferred  out by late afternoon.
                        4MAR91. Officially close doors    to patients. Began to
                        inventory expendable items for    turn-in.

                        5MAR91. A terrible rain storm followed much dust (a
                        Haboob in Arabic). There was      go much dust in the air
                        that the clouds were black. It    got dark as night in the
                        middle of the day. The       rain which fell was muddy.
                        Torrents of water washed through the hospital and under
                        the sub-flooring.     Later    that evening,     the 142nd
                        .Clearing Company gluffered three casualties when a
                        battlefield   .souvenir' exploded. Two were treated at
                        the 403rd CSH: (a male whose arm had to be surgically
                        amputated, and a female with chest and head injuries
                        and a subsequent hypoxic episode). The 128th CSH re-
                        -assembled the EMT area and treated one female for lezg
                        sever injuries (superficial wounds to face, left breast
                        and right thigh). The laboratory re-opened and drew 19
                        units of whole blood for this emergency. Most within
                        the berm never distinguished between the explosion and
                        the thunder.

                        11MAR91:  0900 Convoy of professional     component struck
                        their tentg and moved to the 332nd Medical Brigade
                        Assembly Area (approximately 20 miles east of Hafar al
                        Batin).

                        13MAR91: Milvang began arriving using only 7 dolly 'sets.
                        (4 daily trips made-from         13-16MAR91      21    total
                        Milvan/ISO shelters).


                        18MAR91: Initial group of enlisted soldiers arrived at
                        the 332nd Med Bde AA.


                        21MAR91: 128th was together again. lot load of Milvans
                        arrived on flatbed trailers.


                        22MAR91: Last of Milvan/Conexes arrived. (total          ISO
                        shelters, 43 milvans and 14 conexeg.)
