            I. General information for fixed wing aircraft. Iraq Currently
            has in its inventory approximately 9 different combat fixed wing
            aircraft, mostly of Soviet design. The destruction of these
            aircraft should only be attempted by trained personnel. EOD
            personnel should be consulted prior to disposal/destruction
            procedures involving explosives.

            2. General information on rotary wing aircraft. Iraq's rotary
            wing combat inventory encompasses aircraft of Soviet, German, and
            'French design.

            4. Destruction of rotary wing-aircraft using conventional
            munitions.

               a. Place at least two M112,C4 blocks on the junction of the
            main rotor blades. objective: Sheer off main rotor assembly.

               b. Place at least three thermite grenades on the tail rotor
            assembly. Objective: Weld and destroy the tail rotor assembly.

            S. Destruction of rotary wing aircraft using unconventional
            methods. Use axe or hammer to destroy attaching points where tail
            boom connects to the aircraft fuselage.
