                                    V. WHERI,ED VEHICLES.


             1. General.    Wheeled vehicles are perhaps the softest and
             easiest target to destroy with explosives since armor protection
             is limited. The priority is to render the vehicle inoperative.

             2. Destruction of wheeled vehicles using conventional munitions.

                 a. Place at least two M112,C4 blocks on he top center line
             of the engine. objective: Destroy engine. Note: The use of TNT
             instead of C4 will require a 50% increase in explosive weight of
             TNT to obtain an equivalent effect.

                 b. Remotely ignite at least two thermite grenades which have
             been places on, or near, the fuel tank. Objective: Produce
             enough heat to cause a fire and possibly detonate the vehicles
             fuel destroying the vehicle.

             3. Destruction of wheeled vehicles using unconventional means.

                 a. Burn vehicle using diesel fuel/oil mixture.

                 b. Disable engine same as for main battle tank.
