                 On 10 Aug 90 545th MP C-D re@:@ieved deployment orders f-:-r- Sai..idi
             Arabia. The next six weeks fourth platoon went through an
             intensive training and deployment Preparation Progi-arri. T@ie
             medical, personnel gear and legal work was done to insure trouble
             free deployment. The training consisted of NBI-:, Weapons
             qualification, first aid, climit4.zatic,n and Physical readiness.
             the fourth platc@sins vehicles and equipment were prepped and
             packed on 19 Aug 90. The vehicles were staged and cc.nvoyp-d the
             next day to E-'.ealimont (spc-e). This was a 22 hour convoy and tz-,-Lr-
             vehicles went through it with flying colors. After the vehicle
             were on their way to Saudi Arabia the troops concentrated on
             individual and platoon training. On 26 @-.'ep 90 was the day fourth
             platoon with half company manifested at Abrams Gymnasium. On 27
             Sep 90 at C)215 the 747 lifted off on its way to Saudi Arabia.
             After 19 hours and one stop ip. Fran',.-.fut-t, Rheinmein AFB we landed
             in Dahran Saudi Arabia. We were based in l@-:0 degree weather to
             Damman P,Drt and Pegasus City. Pegasus City was three warehouses
             used to house up to iz-500 lst Cav sold'@ers. This is where the
             fourth platoon and the rest of the :,ompany got their first
             M3.ssion. For approximately four weeks 54@@ secured Pegasus City,
             fourth Platoon did daytime ga'te security, roving patrols and
             access. From this fourth platoon convoyed out with EIMAIN to AA
             Hc,rse and set up security. The rriiSS4-.T)

    0        -moving patrol, TOC access, ASP'@- guard and '-,F' operations. Along
             with these miss-"ors fourth platoon did law enforcement M@:.R
             patroling and T/As. Along with our primary mission fourth platoon
             continued to train on battle tasks. DMAIN moved to TAA Wendy with
             fourth providing security. One team went with the quartering
             party and was instrumental in helping set up the new site. At I'AA
             Wendy went to an m6,C) range to refanil,arize with the wpapc-n.
             Patrc.ling increased and security was tightened. The ls' '--:av E',arid
             sent a 24 person security and -JRF. Fourth platon utilized fol-ir-
             bandsmen to -oundoi-it the three men teams. These personnel
             remained in the platoon until the conflict was over and the
             redeployment phase started. During the time at TAA Wendy the
             platoon did missions ranging from fnding lost vehicles to
             investigating explosions. The di-visicr., started their move up to
             the border and at the same time the quartering party k4@-nt out.
             The MPs and Vljlcans assigned to R@IMAIN pulled convoy sect-L@'i-Y -IT-Id
             led EIMAIN to their new site wLthc,i-Lt any accidents. At this
             lc..:!a@@ion the air war started and Desert Shield became Elese@-t
             Stc,t-rn. At the new site DMAIN went into full war time status and
             the site was within artillery and s,21.ld range. 1--in,:e          security
             was tightened and fourth platoon started pulling --:6               -,n
             patrol and 36 hours TOC a,-id CP duties. As the              war
             approached           platoon did last minute training and
             preparation. Eli-it-iig this time two EFMAIN sites were prepared Dn
             t.-le border. Fourth platoon secured both sites while they were
             being constructed. On 1.-@ Feb --/I DMAIN moved 1-ip to tne western
             site while the division moved through the breech. A quartering
             party followed the brigades into Iraq and quartered an area
