               The land use manager within this division is the Assistant
         Division Engineer (ADE). You should contact the ADE prior to making
         changes to any temporary or permanent facility.
             - The tent city could become an extreme fire hazard. DO NOT
         SMOKE in or around any tent.
             - Area Layout. (Point out currently existing facilities such
         as tent city, chow halls, latrines, showers, FX, water and refuel
         points key support facilities and command locations.

         13. SERVICES.
             - 72 hour laundry services are available. Two bundles per week
         are authorized.
             - Busses are available for unit use. To schedule use of a bus
         you could contact the G-4.
             - Mail/Postal.
                  - Only letter mail weighing less than twelve ounces may
         currently be forwarded in or out of theater. This will change when
         transportation assets become available for moving mail from COMUS.
                  - Mail transit time averages 8 days for outgoing mail and
         ten days incoming.
                  - The correct APO number for the 101st Abn Div is *09309'.
                  - At the present time, only unit mail room support is
         available. Full APO operations are being planned upon the arrival
         of additional assets into theater.
             - Finance. A finance support team is on the ground and is
         capable of making casual pays and cashing checks. The current limit
         is $50 dollars per month for each soldier.
             - Telephones.
                  - Outgoing telephone lines are FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY.
                  - Beware of the high charges from calling collect or using
         telephone charge cards from local commercial phones.
             - Red Cross.
                  - ARCENT maintains Red Cross operations for verification
         of emergency notifications.
                  - Advise family members to notify the local Red Cross
         immediately if a death or life threatening illness or injury of an
         immediate family member occurs. They need to know your: name,
         rank, SSAN, unit (to company leyel) and APO number.
             - Religious. Chaplains are here and will try to accomodate all
         religious preferences.

         14. UNIFORM.
               Contonment Area.
                  - Soft cap: non-subdued rank for officers, subdued rank
         for enlisted, worn with the brim flattened out.
                  - Protective mask.
                  - DBDU with name, US Army, collar insignia and unit pa@ch.
         Other badges are optional.
                  - Individual weapon.
                  - Water, dust goggles and other items as necessary when
         assigned to work details.
