         DATE/TIME ACTIVITY PERSON MAKING
                                                                     ENTRY
         ----------------------------------------------------------------

0315 CPT Smith called. He talked to the Olson
battery. They report not a misfire, but
a Patriot that may have failed to
failsafe and was down on King Abdul Aziz
road. They wanted EOD to go find it and
take care of it. I called MAJ Nivins
and let him know the situation and that
we didn't do searching. If they found
something to give us a call and we would
                      get it taken care of.

0405 LTC Reese, G-3 ARCENT, called wanting
information on a possible scud in ammo
supply point TSA 1, being taken care of
                      by 542d.

0406 Called the 542d and talked to SSG
Abrams. The 18th EOD responded to TSA 1
and found the remains of a Scud that was
hit by a Patriot. the team recovered a
31 section of the scud. The 18th will
return to TSA 1 in the morning (0630) to
conduct detailed BDA on the ammo stored
at TSA 1. TSA I is under total blackout,
so team did not complete BDA. 18th also
reported that an unknown E8 from SOCCENT
J6 was on site prior to the EOD team and
removed parts of the Scud from the
                      scene.

0408 Called LTC Reese, G3 ARCENT and relayed Bupp
                      the above information.

0437 Called SFC Siebe to check on team, out Olson
 Wild Goose chase.
Individual saw a mid-air detonation and
they wanted EOD to find the pieces. SFC
Siebe said they now had a team out
checking a suspect package at ESKAN
                      village.

0730 Shift Change. LTC Pierson and MSG Olson
                      Bleshoy depart for 543rd.

1100 Called 3d Pers Gp w/PERSTAT. They Byrd
requested us to send list of all unit
