                5. (U) OBSERVATZON: Space limitations precluded taking a full
                training set complement to Southwest Asia.

                6. ZU) DISCUSSION: The first contingency NBC suit was carried
                in the soldier's rltck sack or with soldier in garment bag. The
                second was carried in the B-bag. Winter clothing was also
                taken. as well as 15 day supply of MRE and personals.
                   Cdr, ARCENT said no use of contingency stocks +or training
                in country. Cdr. lst ID then was in dilemma as to how to
                acclimate its -Boldiers without the training set.
                   Cdr. lst ID opted to require one company per battalion to
                surface ship a -Full complement of training suits. This
                complement was to rotate throughout the battalion in country +or
                training.

                7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: Selected units can take -Full sets of
                training chem suits for subsequent rotational use by all units.
