            Feb 14:    7th and 18th Corps continue to refine plans and prepare
            for combat.

            Feb 15:     18th Corps started cross-border recons.         Two SCUDs
            launched at Hafir Al Batin no injuries or damage reported. This
            was the first midday SCUD launch.

            Feb 16: Preparation for offensive operations continued. No enemy
            contact reported.    One SCUD launched towards Al Jubayl point of
            impact undetermined.

            Feb 17: 7th Corps conducted Artillery raids and feint with Attack
            Helicopter Bn. 18th Corps conducted cross-border recons and Attack
            Helicopter raid. No significant enemy reaction to either raidi

            Feb 18:    18th Corps cross-border recon resulted in capture of 41
            EPWS. Air support related issues plague final preparations for
            offensive operations and raise doubts concerning our ability to
            effectively shape the battlefield prior to initiation of ground
            campaign.

            Feb 19: Air Force F-111's attacking Army nominated targets have
            destroyed numerous armored vehicles and helped overall battlefield
            preparation. Preparations for effective air-ground operations are
            on track.

            Feb 20: Limited cross-border operations conducted with light enemy
            reaction.

            Feb 21: 18th Corps conducted armed aerial recons and deep attack
            operations resulting in the capture of 479 EPWS.

            Feb 22:    7th and 18th Corps continued preparations for offensive
            operations and conducted artillery raids and reconnaissance
            operations. Anti-fratricide materials being tested by 7th Corps.

            Feb 23: Elements of both Corps conducted artillery raids and air
            ground reconnaissance operations. There was no significant enemy
            response to friendly operations in either Corps area. Training on
Information Management System (MFIMS) conducted.

            Feb 24:    Desert Storm offensive operations commenced at 010OZ.
            ARCENT Forces attack in sector to destroy Iraqi forces.

            Feb 25: 7th and 18th Corps forces attacked in sector to penetrate
            and envelop Iraqi defenses in the KTO. G-day operations were well
            executed, advanced ahead of schedule and encountered little enemy
            resistance.

            Feb 26:    7th Corps continued attacks in sector to penetrate and
            envelop Iraqi defenses in the KTO.          18th Abn Corps secured
            objectives   to   envelope    Iraqi  forces,    interdict   lines    of
            communication    in   the   Euphrates    River   Valley    and    block
            reinforcements of Iraqi forces in the KTO.      7th Corps penetrated
