                ANNEX G (NUC       BIOLOGICAL AND CIIEMICAL DEFENSE OPERATIONS) TO
                2D COSCOM OPORD 90-2

                    b.       Coordination Instructions.

                         (1)       The following units will establish NBCWRS
                subcollection centers reporting directly to the 2D COSCOM NBC
                Division:

                             Special Troops Battalion

                             7th CSG


                             30th CSG


                             159th CSG

                             16th CSG

                             332d MED BDE

                             7-159th AVN REGT

                             229th MCC

                             512th EOD

                             Booth MMC

                         (2)       The designated subcollecti.on centers will
                receive Chemical Downwind Messages (CDM) and Effective Downwind
                Messages (EDM) from the 2D COSCOM NBC Division and are
                responsible for passing CDMs and ED4s to their subordinate units.
                These subcollection centers will determine reporting requirements
                within their command.

                         (3)       All units will perform NBC reconnaissance in
                sectors of responsibility to locate contamination affecting
                tactical and support operations and  identify uncontaminated areas
                for potential decontamination sites.

                         (4) (U) Prepare plans/SOP   for defense against NBC
                attacks and for operating in an NBC environment.

                         (5) (U) Initial 2D COSCOM   MOPP level is 0. Soldiers
                will have ready access to MOPP gear  at all times.

                         (6) (U) operational Exposure Guidance (OEG) will be
                determined at a later date.
