               C. (U) Patient evacuation will be provided by a
           combination of Level II and III air/ground evacuation units as
           well as USAF Tactical Aeromedical Evacuation System (TAES)
           support for intra- and inter-theater movement of patients as
           regulated by the MEDCOM Medical Regulating Office.

               (U) TASKS.

               a. (U) lst COSCOM.

                   (1) (U) Establish Class VIII Turn-in Point VIC DHAHRAN
           area for turn-in of excess medical supplies.

                   (2) (U) Provide preventive medicine and veterinary
           support to include vector suppression, food and water
           inspection, and support for military working dogs.

               b. (U) Units.

                   (1)       Provide Level I and II medical care using
           organic assets while in RAA'S.

                   (2)       Provide enroute medical treatment and
           evacuation from organic assets during movement of unit personnel
           and equipment to holding, processing and deployment sites.

           4.       CORPS EVACUATION POLICY. Corps hospitals will not be
           operational. The theater evacuation policy is fifteen days.
           Changes may be directed dependent upon available resources.

           5. (U) MEDICAL REGULATING. Evacuation and reporting of Corps
           patients within and from EAC hospitals will be done by the
           MEDCOM MRO.


           6. (U) PREVENTIVE MEDICINE (PM).

               a.       Only food from U.S. military approved sources will
           be consumed.

               b. (U) Coordination for food inspections will be made
           through Commander, lst coscom.

               C. (U) Insects should be controlled by the use of
           protective measures, field sanitation teams, and entomological
           control teams.

               e. (U) Close contact with local population should be
           avoided.
