              the city of l@afir Al Batin; black smoke reported -rising
              (1153 hrs). Lkter confirmed that a SQud missile had
              i III pact L-d.

                   15 FEB: Requested lst Cav recon and confirm decon
              sites to support screen mission aircraft.

                   16 FEB: Avn Bde B-3 reports eighteen AH64 and one UH60
              from Ilth Avn Bde feint mission crossing LD. lst Cav Avn
              Bde supported this mission by establishing a "hot-spot" to
              update the Doppler. Received FRAGO #91-26 (BeT-m-buster
              111).


                   17 FEBZ DIAC advises of a Free-Fire Area vic lokm
              radius kround PT 1866. All cross-berm operations
              postponed; all 'i'st Cav elements must be south of the berm.
              Informed that Ist Bde tank struck an anti-tank mine Rt Pi-
              fZt4E3183. Avn bde elements coordinate for hasty decon
              training in conjunction with breach lane rehearsal.
              Received change to PRAGO #91-26.

                   18 FEB. 1-227 Atl( l@el Bn conducts I-lellfire test-firing
              at Jayhawk Range. Malfunctions on AH64s #3CB (-firing) irid
              #3'78 (laser back-up aircraft). Received lst Cav FRAGO *91-
              - (1-7        Recon). ARCENT directs all radar emitters shut
              .@7      CAV
              down between 0230-0301 hrs 20 Feb (anti-fratricide
              measure). HHT main body displaces from Al Quasumah to AA
              Bart.


                   19 FEB,. [-IHT bde main body convoy conducts breach
              rehearsal and hasty decon training 02C(O-ID4@'5 hrs in
              conjunction with night tactical movement to AA Bart. F@-
              22'7 alerted to possible rescue mission for downed AID
              pilot located north of berm (Iiter cancelled). Received
         Ist Cav FRAGO #91-28 (Movement Through Breach) from DM(-IIN.

                   ,@'O FEB. Issued Warning Order 091-20A to E-2L@.
              Monitored on Div Cmd net (13 5 hi-s) thxt Mi@- BFV from A/1-5
              Cav was hit by direct fire; unit is pulling back.
              Received mission (IC,15 hrs) to be prepared to recon and
              destroy enemy armored vehicles Yic ER Pig; mission
              cancelled by VII Co@ps at 2035 hr-s. Q@i58Ds ordered to
              identify enemy vehicles reported repositioning vic          EA
              Parrot.


                   21 FEB: Received approval to fly into Egyptian         sector
              on 2 Feb for coordination with Egyptian forces commander.
