3. (U) OPERATIONS.
a. ARRIVAL/SET-UP: Due to extensive damage to the
Kuwait City international Airport, neither SOCCENT nor ARCENT
located at the airport as planned. SOCCENT is located at the
Kuwait Air Defense School area and ARCENT occupied a Ministry of
Education facility; both within three miles of the airport. The
brigade Task Force co-located with ARCENT and the 352d Civil
Affairs Co=and, and occupied a warehouse facility ideal for
TECHINT and DOCEX operations.
b. (U) INITIAL COORDINATION.
(1) The rapid fall of the city to coalition
forces impacted the intended flow of support. SOCCENT's plan for
unilateral U.S. operations has yet to occur, and direct
SOCCENT/Kuwaiti resistance interaction was terminated by the
CINC. SOCCENT J2 has advised they require no direct support.
