         SUBJECT: MlAl and M2A2 Bradley NET


                  (3) The best place for vehicle tlirn-in appears to be the
         port area. Vehicles will be HET'D to the port, inventoried and
         then be hand receipted to ARCENT. ARCENT must be able to accept
         Lip to two companies of tanks and one company of Bradleys every
         two days. The port has adequate storage area +or the 600
         displaced tanks. I+ there is no requirement to remove
         communications equipment from Ml's, they will be le-Ft in unit
         assembly areas until after the battalion has completed NET.

                  (4) During the 8 days prior to accepting its new
         vehicles; all old vehicles, including ORF'S, will be turned in.
         At no time will a battalion be signed for two sets of vehicles.

                  (5) All 105mm ammo will be turned in at the port with
         vehicles. Dunnage is needed. Coscom should probably get the
         mission to get the dunnage and repack the ammo. Ammo will be
         stored at theater ASP's until all MI's are evac'd to US.

             f. New Equipment Training (NET).

                 (1) The Fielding Team will conduct a scheduling
         conference to establish when each battalion will be NET'D.

                  (2) Rollover NET is projected to take 2 days per
         company, 8 days per battalion.
