              SUBJECT: COMMANDER'S NARRATIVE FOR 05 SEP 90


              1. This is the XVIII Airborne Corps Artillery current
              deployment disposition as of 051300 Sept 90.

                  a. The LaPaix is enroute with HHB 75 FA Bde and 3-iS FA.
              Anticipated arrival date is 17 Sep 90. The Cape May, Tampa Bay,
              Cape Farewell, Cape Decision, American Falcon and Isabel
              departed port 30-31 Aug 90 and 01-05 Sept. They are each
              carrying elements of HHB Corps Artillery, 1-39 FA, and 3-8 FA.
              These ships will arrive at SPOD on or about 20-28 Sept 90. The
              Cape Henry has elements of 3-27 FA (MLRS) and 5-8 FA. Both of
              these "nits are already in theater and prepared to receive their
              lbads.


                  b. The ATACMS mission from ALTUS is completed. Seatrain
              %Washington in Galveston with elementq of A/6-27 (ATACMS) aboard
              is repaired and enroute to SPOD.

              2. Remaining personnel awaiting transportation to AOR: (This
              includes 21 PAX from HHB C/A identified.+or movement on or about
              7 Sep 90.)
