                            TRAINING ISSUE NO. 17 ATH Training
                            (SGHR ITEM NO. 209)

      DISCUSSION: Some personnel were unfamiliar with ATH equipment and operations
      on deployment. Medical Readiness Committee should ensure ATH plant readiness
      in addition to personnel readiness. Personnel from other units with a mobility
      mission to help staff an ATH should train with the ATH they will deploy with.

      RECOMMENDATION: ACC Reg. 400-10 provides specific guidelines fro training and
      needs no revision. Attention to compliance is needed.

      ACTIONS REQUIRED: Compliance with ACC Reg. 400-10 for ATH training.

      ACTIONS COMPLETED: ACC has issued policy letter emphasizing need to adhere to
      ACC Reg. 400-10 training requirements.

 STATUS: Closed.
