         LOGISTICS ISSUE NO. 30 TA Reviews for ATH and DECON

         (SGHR ITEM NO. 168)
       
         DISCUSSION: TAs for ATH and DECON need to be revisited. Scope of care in ODS
         other than expected (more peacetime). Increased communication needs (faxes,
          STU-III, telephones, PA system, radios). Many functional areas equipment and 
          supplies need modification. More thorough exercising needed to catch needed 
         modifications in advance. 

         RECOMMENDATION: Thorough TA review is needed. 
       
         ACTIONS REQUIRED: Review ATH and DECON TAs and make changes as needed.
       
         ACTIONS COMPLETED: ATH TA review was hosted by HQ TAC and completed in late
         '91. Revised DECON UTCs (personnel and equipment) are being staffed. UTC
         Refinement conferences in Jan and Apr '92 identified changes. TAs have been
         updated.
       
         STATUS: Recommend closure.
