        1. (U) References:

           a. (U) Meeting between DASG-HCD/HCL and DAMO-SWC, 6 May 89,
        subject: Requirement for Biological Warfare and Endemic Disease
        Vaccines.

           b. (U) Telephone conversation between MAJ Eng, this office,
        and Dr. Johnson-Winegar, USAMMDA, 27 Dec 89, SAB.

        2. (U) In FY88 Michigan State Department of Health (MSDH) was
        contracted to produce sufficient anthrax vaccine to
        soldiers                   cost of $2.196M. Request that efforts
        be initiated to obtain an additional               anthrax
        vaccine.

        3. @ Anthrax is a validated biological warfare agent threat in
        the DCSINT approved Worldwide Biological Warfare Agent Threat List
        (18                 medical mission Area Threat Document. There

        doses of anthrax vaccine to achieve an overall cadabilitv for
