           1. If sample appears to be an oily liquid or gel without the
           characteristics, consistency or mobility of water or a water
           based suspension assume chemical agent and take no further
           action. Contact D Utley CDD (ext 580/303). I?

           2. If sample appears to be water-based and contaminated with
           traces of chemical agent it may be examined for the presence
           of biological agents as detailed on page 8 taking due
           precautions to avoid skin or inhalation exposure. :P

           3. If sample is solid material e.g. sand, rock, artefacts,
           paint scrapings etc it may be examined for the presence of
           biological agents as detailed on pages 9-11 taking due
           precautions to avoid skin or inhalation exposure.   lp
