        PURPOSE: To provide a reply for Congressman Vanderiagt

        RECOMMENDATION: Sign memorandum.

        DISCUSSION:

        1. Haz-Med Inc. made a unsolicited proposal to DOD, through his
        Congressman; Tab A.

        2. The attached memorandum refers the Congressman to the Academy
        of Health Sciences.

        3. The products (litter covers) may be of use to the AMEDD. A
        requirement exists for decontaminationable litters. Durable covers
        could extend the utility of the current litter.
