                      (S) At the unit level, NBC specialists and NBC teams were well trained.
                However, the operational tempo and high demands placed on NBC personnel brought
                out significant deficiencies in their initial MOS a-ai@g and new equipment a-dining.
                      (S) Most NBC specialists interviewed felt inadequately trained to handle large
                supply accounts, warehouse management, and maintenance of NBC equipment. Lack of
                training in supply matters appears compounded by an inadequate T/O manning for NBC
                billets at many units. For instance, many independent ba@ftalions have only one 571 1,
