   good guys here and ready to haul. I would say our line haul for
   POL is solved. Real fine outfit. I knew their commander from
   years back.

           I might mention for everybody that doesn't get to see my
   MP blotter, we got a big increase in drugs and alcohol running
   around. Most of it's coming in from civilian crews on the ships.
   We had a sting the other day and caught two merchant seamen
   trying to trade hashish for M-16 weapons. There is a lot of
   crime associated with this industrial area, and you all ought to
   be aware of that. The Saudis brought us a drunk soldier last
   night they picked up in town on alcohol. It's there and anybody
   that thinks it's not is turning their head; so you need to go out
   and look in your billeting areas and start doing all those things
   we do routinely in CONUS, and there ought to be health and
   comfort inspections because it's there. That's all I have.
