             Subj:      AUTOMATED       DATA PROCESSING (ADP) REQUIREMENT

             1. It      is requested that ADP equipment be providgzr-to units within
             the I MEF Casualty Section, for the purpose of establishing a
             local area network system for the rapid dissemination of information
             concerning casualties, as they occur and their disposition td-tfT-i'@7
             Headquarters and I MEF (Fwd).

             2. The I MEF currently has three Fleet hospitals and one Army
             hospital that require the LAN capability to report their admissions,
             discharges and medevac's to this Headquarters (Casualty) for further
             reporting to senior commands. In concert with'this, I MEF (Fwd) will
             relay through their LAN connection northern battle casualties from
             company field hospi@ai-z- bord,-.riti-3 Kuwait.
