1. Enclosure (1) is a listin g of casualty POCs and telephone
numbers. Establishment of a solid network of POC6 is essential to
-timely accurate casualty reporting and accountability. Addressees
are requested to notify this office if they discover inaccuracies
in the telephone list. Also, if you have multiple telephone
numbers and especially commercial or fax numbers, please call them
in to the MEF Main CP (MSgt Short or Fleck) for inclusion in the
ext update. We will publish periodic updates as significant
Sphanges occur.
2. Enclosure (2) is a compilation of all previous guidance
-egarding addressees on PCRA. As we composite forces and integrate
-he CRC personnel into the force, it will become more difficult to
differentiate between who came from where, i.e., II MEF, III MEF,
lst MEB, HOMC, etc. To ensure that the proper commands receive
this vital information, use all the info addressees listed on
enclosure (2). Please be very careful about informing any
addresses back in CONUS below General Staff level (Division, Wing,
FSSG). We have already had an instance where the PNOK received
notification from back channel sources. Let the proper authorities
coordinate the casualty assistance efforts for us in the rear. You
are enjoined to remove all CONUS addressees from your PCR's not
listed on enclosure (2). Enclosure (3) is an example of the
lengths that our CONUS rear commands are going to handle 'the
casualty assistance effort. It is working well!
3. Enclosure (4) is the PLA listing for all patient status reports
from both EUCOM and SWA medical facilities. It is based upon input
received from the MSCS. Regular reports from all the Marine
Liaison Teams are intended to keep ALCON informed of the status of
our Marines and sailors.
4. Enclosure (S) is a listing of POCs and telephone numbers for
the USMARCENT casualty assistance team. They will soon begin
publishing message patient status reports daily and are there
