      PRIDE
      - 0002, Based on request of 11th Marines, Assistant Division Commander
        restricted use of Rocket Assisted Projectiles (RAP) to emergency use
        only for remainder of night.
      - 0103, Pride directs all units to employ RABFAC Beacons to mark flanks.
      - 1004, Division chops Company's B, C and B Command Group from TF XRAY
        (1/3) to Task Force Taro for operations. Company C subsequently
        chopped to 1/12 for security mission.
      - 1030, Pride authorizes 11th Marines recon and survey parties to cross
        into Kuwait.
      - Boundary change from I MEF, move west TM 200594 'to TM 2Oe9OO to
        TM 357976 - effective immediately. Forward CP location OS 622721.
      - 1632, Pride Fwd assumes Command & Control.
      - 1646, The Saudi's are breaching at TM 293632 have found mines but no
        chemical mines.
      - i8eo Pride Fwds CP moves to QS 622721. No indication of forces moving,
        RPVs confirm Armor Bn north of Al Jaber Airfield.
      - 2000, Coordinated Fire Line (CFL) I in effect. - 2300, received boundary
        change between lat MarDiv and EPAC, move west TM 200594 to TM 200900 to
        TM 357976.
      - 2200, Pride freezes all-freq and crypto changes for 72 hours.
      - 230e, Received boundary change from MARCENT between Ist MarDiv and EPAC,
        move west TM 200594 to TM 200900 to TM 357976.


      TASK FORCE TARO
      - 0103, Pride directs all units to employ RABFAC beacons to mark flanks.
      - 0305, Accidental grenade explosion kills one Marine in 2/3
                 and wounds another. Both Marines evacuated.9;

        many empty bunkers.
      - 1004, TF Xray (1/3) prepared for operations. "C" Co subsequently
        chopped to 1/12 for security mission.

      - 1350, 3/3, Main CP displaces to BP Casino with Engineers. I M6OA3 Tank
        with track width mine plow and 2 MK-154 MCLC's.
      - 1735, Pride reports B-52 strike scheduled for 2400 vic QS 840750.
      - 1740, 2/12 fire cap with all 3 Batteries, vic BP Casino.
      - 1830, 3/3 Assumes MOPP-1.
      - 1930, 1/12 036 Radar hit by missile. One Marine killed, numerous
        secondary explosions from ammunition in the truck.
      - 2025, TF puts recon into minefield to find lanes.
        2200, TF reports beginning infiltration. TF reports all. Recon Teams on
        Ist obstacle belt and screens right flank of Div zone.
        2330, 3/3 initiates attack (Infiltration) in wedge formation, I Co in
        lead, 'K' Co on right flank and 'L" Co on left flank.
        2345, 'K' Co identifies and marks an enemy minefield vic OS 738645.

      TASK FORCE RIPPER
      - 1735, 2/7 reports 20 EPW's on 2 trucks have surrendered.
      - Ripper ready for main attack on Ist obstacle belt.
