                           UNCLASSIFIED
reinforcements if we have additional questions or something of
    that sort happen.

General overview of what the Commandant is going to do,
he arrives around ten o'clock. We will give him a little bit of
rest, give him lunch, then give him the brief. That's all the
general officers. We have all the quarters and everything taken
care for everybody that evening, and you're hosting Gen Winglass
that evening (speaking to Gen Brabham). They should be walking
around, the Commandant will be walking around Camp 5 to those
things that Mike Brock talked about this evening.

Secondly, tomorrow we are going to have him out to visit
the 1st MarDiv and participate in some kind of MIZE exchange,
    maybe with Gerald McRaney and Delta Burke, and the CG 1st MarDiv;
then in the afternoon he goes to FSSG, has dinner with FSSG
folks, visits Fleet Hospital 5 patients, and then comes back to
    his quarters.

on the 26th, he goes to Jubail sometime mid-morning,
tours KAG-16, meets and greets Bob Hope, leaps on a C-20, goes to
Shaikh Isa, visits MAG-11, comes back to Jubail and back into his
    quarters.

On the 27th and 28th, we have two half-day in there for
    CMC time. If he leaves on the 29th he will use those half days;
if he leaves on the 28th, those half days go away and we fill his
schedule up with the 2d MarDiv and a general officer brief on the
    27th.

Any questions on that, come see us, we got lots of copies
of itineraries. Bottom line on this one, stay flexible, things
may have to change. And after that we got the Vice President on
the 31st, and that ought to close it off. I don't have anything
    more.

GEN BOOMER: I think it will close it off. Secretary of Defense
told me day before yesterday that he had already closed it off
below Cabinet level, no more visitors in the AOR below Cabinet
level, and he's attempting to shut off the Code-L. Ile's not sure
how successful he will be, but hopefully that will allow us to
focus on the things we should be focusing on, of which you are
    well aware.

The only thing I have is I'd like to take this
opportunity to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, and I
regret that you're not home with your family; but like all
Marines, I'm sure despite those feelings, you wouldn't be
anywhere else, so have a good one and I'll see you around the
campus as I travel with the Commandant.

    END OF BRIEF
