                On 8-9 January,*a recreation tent, complco with a patio,
            lighting, television and video cassette recorder was designed and
            built by the SNCO's of VMFA-333.

                On 17 January, with the outbreak of war, the front page of the
            Beaufort Gazette featured a photograph of VMFA-333. The photo
            depicted 'Trip Trey" MarineB' carrying two AIM-7M Sparrow missiles,
            with *Shamrock' aircraft in the background Supporting Document Item
            16.

                                         Legal Action

                The Commanding Officer, VMFA-333 is the Special Courts Martial
            convening authority for the Squadron. As such, the following legal
            proceedings were held in this Squadron.

                                           Medical


                VMFA-333's Flight Surgeon and Corpamen provided preventive
            medicine and routine clinical care services to U.S. and allied
            military personnel aboard Shaikh Isa AB throughout the month of
            December and dental readiness remained at 100%.

                On 2 January HM3 Nicholas C. Kuretza and HM3 Frederick Floyd
            attended a Mini Advanced Trauma Life Support class instructed by the
            flight surgeons assigned to Shaikh Isa AB.

                On 5 January LCDR Christopher R. Armstrong instructed the
            Marines of VMFA-333 on the use of Pyridostigmne Bromide UPS 30 MG
            Nerve Agent Pre-Treatment Tablets (NAPP) in conjunction of issuance
            of the same, Supporting Document Item 17.

                On 12 January the Medical Department immunized.the Squadron with
            the first of two injections for the biological ageht Anthrax.

ry the 'Booster Shot* for Anthrax was administered.
            Convuleant Antidote for Nerve Agent (CANA) autoinjectors were
            received by the Medical Department for the Marines of "Trip T-ey*,
            Supporting Document Item 18.

                                       Logistics/Supply

                Squadron S-4 Chief MSgt Gilbert N. Cordova and Sgt Richard A.
            Vanche kept the Shamrocks well supplied throughout January and over-
            saw the appropriation of hardback tents for the Administrative and
            Logistics Departments.
