1. SITUATION. (Omitted).
2. MISSION: At 161800C Feb 91, initiate movement -From DP 4
to the As Sur Markaz (Via QS 657623) in order to conduct
reconnaissance and surveillance operations in support of future
infiltration operations.
3. EXECUTION:
A. Concept of Operations
(1) Commander's intent
(a) I want to use the As-sur Mar@,az as an
observation post to observe enemy activity to
the north. In particular, I want
-observation on the planned Battalion
in-Filtratic)n lanes.
.(b) To accomplish this, one 6 man recon team will
move from DP 4 (Vic US 623620) just after
dusk to secure and then occupy the As-sur
Markaz.

base +or -Future recon operations of the Iraqi
defensive belts.
B. Fires
(1) Artillery and Close Air Support will be
coordinated with TF Grizzly FSCC.
(a) Artilleny. Request artillery support through
-Tp-gr-izzly FSCC. They will direct You to F
2/10 "JACKSON" COF net.
(b Ai ReqLiest'air as usual through
--C-SLtPROrt-
TAHAR. TF Grizzly will monitor air request
and will approve or disapprove.
