                                           LEGAL

             (U) The judicial activity for the reporting period hit an all time low
with no NJP's or court martials being held. No doubt that the lack of
liberty/alcohol and the high morale of the squadron were a contributing
         factor.

                                      LOGISTICS/SUPPLY

             (U) In establishing and refining the squadron spaces and living
quarters, the focus was diverse. The advanced party under lstit Twiford
identified billeting, office and maintenance areas. The list of requirements
included: 25 GP tents, construction of office spaces, electrical wiring for
all spaces, engineering support for bunkers, and the pouring of a cement pad
         for a clamshell hangar.
Once in country, Maj Shy, with the assistance of SgtMaj Young, supervised
the construction of squadron billeting and maintenance spaces, bunkers, and
office furniture while handling the myriad of details it took to set up the
logistics support required for the squadron to be fully combat capable.
One hundred rounds of 5.56mm ammunition per Marine and very limited amounts
of 9mm ammunition were acquired and distributed. Satisfactory amounts of 9mrn
ammunition were later received and issued by the close of the month.
Lcpl Balser was able to set up an armory facility by the last day of the
         month.

                                          MEDICAL

             (5) One (1) marine suffered a dislocated shoulder while playing football
resulting in no lost work days. Another marine was medevaced back to CONUS
due to a complication from a previous injury. The squadron finished the gamma
globulin and anthrax series of vaccines.
