listening on to a TACK net which I think we should have access to.
The way we could monitor the whole battle and instead of having 2
guys looking at the battle area I have 3 guys. I have a third
check. Gives me an opportunity to carry extra NBC gear that would
ready available to a moments notice. If I had deploy in a
defensive posture deploy into and set up a decon site ..... then I
would have transportation available right to me then. BUt as it
stands now I have no assets. No way to carry my gear other than
throw it in ... he is jammed packed bc COC gear. We are almost
stranded, and I felt not only for the operation itselt going
thoufhg all the work ups all the movement, position, we had a
nightmare for logistics trying to get my gear, keep track of my
gear, keep track of personnel. I had no way to go f rom train
to go back and check on my gear. If I had a vehcile, HMMWV -- I
could have all my gear ready for replacemenbt parts which are very
important in a combat situation. I had no access to any
replacement parts whats so ever. I limited access to one 6 gears
which I squeezed in on for publication of reference material.
\weve worked up a couple of map cases that I carry and my NBC MCO
carres that has made up of contaminated areas, attack areas adn
hazard areas f or each one of the cases. the only one that we dont
have of course special case. If they came out, easy folded,
.... along with 3-3 and a couple other items and we have map cases.
Like to see more permanent (markers).
