RMK/AD HOC REQUIREMENT -- [   (b)(1) sec 1.3(a)(4)   ] INCREASED 
ACTIVITY, PARTICULARLY IN THE NUMBER AND LOCATION OF CW-RELATED 
MATERIALS AND VEHICLES.

/AT HABBANIYAH POSSIBLE CW PRODUCTION FACILITY II, ADDITIONAL
/DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED SINCE 4 FEBRUARY. THE DAMAGE [   (b)(1) sec 
1.3(a)(4)   ]
/WHICH IS IN ADDITION TO THAT [   (b)(1) sec 1.3(a)(4)   ] ON 23 
AND 26 JANUARY,
/EFFECTED BOTH THE WESTERN PROBABLE PRECURSOR PRODUCTION AREA AND
/THREE STORAGE BUILDINGS IN THE EASTERN END OF THE FACILITY. 
DAMAGE
/IN THE PRECURSOR AREA INCLUDED THE DESTRUCTION OF A POSSIBLE
/PRODUCTION BUILDING AND A POSSIBLE FILLING BUILDING, AND SEVERE
/DAMAGE TO SEVERAL STORAGE TANKS. ONE STORAGE TANK HAD BEEN
/DESTROYED, AND THE REMAINING FOUR STORAGE TANKS HAD BEEN 
RUPTURED.
/THE RUPTURED TANKS WERE LEAKING A LIQUID WHICH HAD SPREAD
/THROUGHOUT THE STORAGE AND PRODUCTION AREA. 
/
/ELSEWHERE IN THE FACILITY, ONE STORAGE BUILDING WAS DESTROYED AND
/TWO OTHER STORAGE BUILDINGS WERE DAMAGED. A LIGHT-TONED SUBSTANCE
/HAD BEEN EXPELLED FROM THE EASTERNMOST STORAGE BUILDING; THIS
/SUBSTANCE COVERED THE REMNANTS OF THE BUILDING AS WELL AS THE
/GROUND ADJACENT TO THE BUILDING. THE TWIN-LINE PRODUCTION 
BUILDING
/HAD ALSO SUFFERED ADDITIONAL DAMAGE, WITH THE COLLAPSE OF THE 
ROOF
/OF ONE OF ITS HIGH-BAY SECTIONS. 
/
/THE FACILITIES AT HABBANIYAH ARE BELIEVED TO PRODUCE THE NERVE
/AGENTS GB AND GD (SARIN AND SOMAN), AND-OR PRECURSOR CHEMICALS.
