SUBJECT: Identification of Tarmiya Facility

1. Because of some reports that there could be a nuclear 
facility in the Tarmiya area, that area was examined to locate 
suspect installations.  The only possibility that was found 
was the Tarmiya facility.  [   (b)(1) sec 1.3(a)(4)   ] 
concluded that the facility was most likely not nuclear 
related.  During the course of this investigation, analysts at 
the [   (b)(1) sec 1.3(a)(4)   ] thoroughly examined [   
(b)(1) sec 1.3(a)(4)   ] suggested to them that Tarmiya could 
be an ammonium perchlorate (AP) production complex.
