1. In response to your questions regarding U.S. attacks
on Iraqi NBC plants, the following is provided:

   a. Attacks on Iraqi NBC plants have taken place at the
following locations:
       - Salman Pak CBW Research, Production, and Storage
Facility
       - Samarra CBW Research, Production, and Storage Facility
       - Habbaniyah CW Production Facilities I, II, and III
       - Baghdad Nuclear Research Center
   b. As of 1430 18 Jan, the only BDA we can provide is that
one refrigerated bunker at Salman Pak has been destroyed, and that
the 1515 reactor building (Baghdad Nuclear Research Center)
sustained probable - severe damage. At Salman Pak, the roof of
the bunker has collapsed and smoke was observed coming from the
bunker, creating concern for leakage.

   c. At Salman Pak, we are unable to determine the extent of
leakage, if any, or what type of agent might be leaking, if any.
At the Baghdad Nuclear Research Center, no significant
radiological leakage Is expected.
