Subject: Fear of Bacteriological Contamination

Some elements in the Persian Gulf took steps in September 1990 to 
protect their equipment against bacteriological contamination. In 
addition to ensuring that ventilation systems were watertight and 
that airconditioning systems worked properly, they were looking 
for bacteriological detectors and masks for their personnel.
