Subject: Iraqi Chemical Warfare Personnel

In November 1990, it was reported that an unspecified number of 
Iraqi chemical warfare personnel were located in Kuwait. The 
chemical warfare personnel carried a decontamination solution that 
is mixed with water and used to treat chemical casualties by 
neutralizing or lessening the effects of the chemicals. The 
personnel also had gas masks and protective clothing.
