Subject: Chemical Warfare Antidotes

The USSR Ministry of Medical Industry had received a request in 
February 1991 for military medical supplies, probably antidotes to 
chemical warfare agents, in connection with the war. The request 
may have come from the Syrian Government or from the Soviet Em-
bassy in Syria on behalf of Soviet citizens there.
