OPERATION DESERT STORM NBC DEFENSE STANDING OPERATING PROCEDtJRES
SOP

1.   PURPOSE.  This SOP provides comma;~d policy, procedures, and
taskings for chemical defense operations of HQ USCENTCOM.

2.   APPLICABILITy.  This SOP is applicable to HQ USCENTCOM
directorates, special staffs, off ~~~5  arid all assigned or
attached personnel during OPERATION DL'SE~T STORM
   including the Joint Communications Support Element  (JSCE).

3.   CLASSIPICATION:  Unclassified.   Contents is FOR OFFICIAL USE
ONLY and should be destroyed as classi~ied waste.

4.   CONTENT:  This SOP includes indiv~ciua~ protective measures,
guidance for execution of defensive ~Eci5ures, and required
equipment.

5.   PROPONENT.  The proponent agent for t~is SOP is the
Headquarters Commandant. Recommended changes, deletions,   or
additions should be addressed directly to CCHC Operations.
